Dr. Susan Luek was a member of the Millersville University Psychology Department for over 40 years. As part of the courses she taught she also oversaw the rat lab. The rat lab, located in Byerly Hall for many years, is now located in Susan P. Luek Hall after the rededication of Byerly in 2017. Dr. Luek was the advisor for the Psychology Club and she brought the honors society in psychology, Psi-Chi, to coampus in 1989. She was named the first Educator of the Year at Millersville in 2010.
