Doris Keller Hosler served as a faculty member in the library from 1968 to 1988. She developed the library’s bibliographic instruction program, one of the first in the State System of Higher Education. Hosler served on the Millersville Borough Planning Commission and was a member of the Lancaster County Redevelopment Authority. In order to show its gratitude, Millersville Borough Council named her Planning Commissioner Emeritus, the first such honor in Millersville history. A library classroom honors Hosler’s years of service to the library and to Millersville University.
