Elva Walter Biemesderfer

Elva W. Biemesderfer, Class of 1917, was honored in 1972, along with her husband and former President of the College, D. Luke Biemesderfer, when the old library was renaimed The D. Luke and Elva W. Biemesderfer Executive Center.  Mrs. Biemesderfer was a member of the University's Campus Club, serving as its president in the 1950s.  A scholarship was established in her name for MU students majoring in speech communication with an area of expertise in theater.
